We turn neglect into structure. Overgrown beds cleared, tired lawns brought back, invasive growth pulled out at the root — the reset most yards have been waiting years for.
Cleanups · Invasive removal · Lawn revivalRestoring, developing, and maintaining Vancouver Island landscapes — one crew that handles the whole arc, from overgrown chaos to enduring order.
Most companies do one piece and hand off the rest. We carry a property through its entire life — from the first hard cleanup to the last leaf of the season — so nothing gets lost between crews.

Considered planting and shaping that gives a property its bones: defined beds, healthy hedges, fruit trees brought back to form — a garden that looks intentional in every season.

Recurring visits every two weeks keep it sharp — with weeding, aeration, and hauling included. No commitment: cancel or postpone anytime. Your yard stops being a second job.
Bi-weekly care · Tree work · Haul-away includedYou've let it go, and you're sure it's beyond saving. It almost never is. Here's what a single restoration does to a hillside most people would give up on — the same property, neglected and renewed.
One property, one restoration — the same hillside, before and after.
Ascent is arborist-owned and horticulture-grounded. Owner Jake Innes trained formally in both fields, and the company holds active membership in the industry's most demanding bodies — the credentials skeptics ask about, and we welcome.
In the spring of 2012, a thirteen-year-old Jake Innes planted a backyard vegetable garden — and watched it fail.
Instead of quitting, he apprenticed under second-generation organic farmer Dave Chambers at Madrona Farm in Saanich, learning to grow things properly, by hand, in real soil.
"I maintain my vegetable garden to this day."
That stubbornness became a company. Founded February 2, 2017, Ascent Yard Care now serves over 600 clients a year across Greater Victoria, Vancouver Island, and the Lower Mainland — built on technical skill, clear communication, and a crew that treats your property like their own plot.

No invented testimonials and no rounded-up promises — just the verifiable scale that answers the only question skeptics really have: are they actually as good as people say?
At first, I was skeptical. Could they actually deliver on their reputation? The answer is yes. 100 times yes. We love Ascent Yard Care.Susan LupuGoogle Reviews
